Cutting one or more grooves around the band can add a simple design feature to a plain wedding ring. You might prefer grooves running across the band.


If you have grooves running in both directions it will give an interesting grid effect. Depending on the width and depth of the grooves, they can be very subtle, or quite striking.

Hard-edged grooves give an “engineered” look that is popular with men who like mechanical things, but grooves that are rounded-off give an effect that is less harsh, and more comfortable to wear.


We can cut as many grooves as you wish, and you can specify their position.

By cutting a groove that changes direction, we can give different effects. One such is this  popular twist effect.


Like all our designs, it can be scaled to suit any finger, and this style particularly popular for matching bride's and groom's rings.
