The cost of any item of jewellery is determined by the cost of the materials and labour needed to produce it. Any design can be tailored to accommodate the pocket of the customer. Aurum jewellers offer a free design consultation. Initially we don’t discuss price. We come up with your “ideal” design and base our quote on those exact specifications. If it fits your budget, fine. If not we ask you to tell us what you want to spend. We can then look at ways of scaling back the costs. This might involve using less gold or platinum or smaller diamonds. We’ll generally produce pencil sketches, and might show items if stock or photographs of previous commissions.
