Even with huge numbers of diamond wedding rings on the market, you might still struggle to find the perfect one for you.
When you are looking at standard ready-made rings, you probably won’t find all the features you want in one ring.
Maybe the width is fine but the depth does not match your engagement ring. Perhaps the profile is not quite right, or it could be the size, or quality of the diamonds that you would prefer to be slightly different.
We design and make your ring just how you want it.
We can make a ring to fit perfectly with your engagement ring

You’ll be wearing your wedding ring for the rest of your life! - It should be exactly right for you.
With a bespoke wedding ring, you have total control over every aspect of the design.
When you come for a design consultation we go into every tiny detail, so that you don't have to settle for "almost perfect".
Deciding on the number of diamonds, their size and shape, and the way they are to be set is an important part of the design process.
Your wedding ring should enhance your engagement ring rather than detract from it.
The two rings should look as though they really belong together.
If you want your engagement ring to remain the focal point,
any diamonds in your wedding ring should add sparkle, without overpowering your engagement ring.
This is something we bear in mind when designing your ring.
If your wedding ring needs to be shaped to fit with your engagement ring, it can also be diamond-set.
Whereas a straight wedding ring can turn on the finger, a fitted band tends to be held in place by the engagement ring, keeping the diamonds aligned in the correct position too.
The more definite the shaping, the more securely the two rings stay interlocked.

There are various methods of setting diamonds into a ring.
If you have diamonds in your engagement ring you might like to opt for using the same setting style.
This could be another feature in-common that will help the rings to look like they belong together.
These two rings have similar diamond sizes, but one is pavé-set and the other castle-set.
Diamonds can be laid out in different ways. With a fairly narrow band you could be limited to a straight line of stones, whereas a wider band might have room for two or even three rows of diamonds.
Alternatively, you might prefer a random scattering of stones of varying sizes.
Many couples like the idea of matching his and her wedding rings. They are not always, identical but have certain features in common.
Often one partner has bigger fingers than the other, so rings of identical width won’t work. A nice way around this is for each opt for a band that suits their hand. The diamonds can be the same size or scaled to the width of band.
Sometimes a bride will have a ring with diamonds and the groom will have the same style but minus the diamonds.
There are so many possibilities!
Choosing a wedding ring is often simpler for a groom. - With no engagement ring to match, men can go for whatever they like!
Most men who want diamonds in their wedding ring opt for just one or two small diamonds, but we are sometimes asked to create a man’s wedding ring that is totally encrusted with diamonds.
You also need to consider whether a diamond-set wedding ring is likely to stand up to the treatment you are going to subject it to. - Again, this might be related to your job, or to things you do in your spare time.
When we design a bespoke diamond wedding ring we always discuss the practical side before taking an order.
If we think that a diamond set ring is not a good idea for you we’ll tell you, although of course the final decision is up to you.
This is very much a matter of personal taste. We are all different!
You might feel that your engagement ring has enough sparkle, and that adding more to the wedding ring would detract from the engagement ring.
On the other hand you might think that you can never have too much bling!
Some jobs, especially those in the health service, or where you come into close contact with people or food do not permit you to have diamonds anyway. - This can be to do with hygiene, or to avoid the risk of injuring someone with the stone-setting.
You also need to ask yourself whether a diamond-set wedding ring is likely to stand up to the treatment you are going to subject it to.
Again, this might be related to your job, or to things you do in your spare time.

This is down to individual preference.
If your engagement ring features some small diamonds, perhaps around a centre-stone, or on the shoulders, it is a good idea to go for the same size diamonds in the wedding ring, as this gives a feature in-common, that makes them look like they belong together.
A wedding ring with too many diamonds or with diamonds that are too large will make the engagement ring look less impressive.
Regardless of how many stones you have in your engagement ring, or what size they are, deciding on the diamonds to put into your wedding ring is always just a case of striking the right balance between the two rings.
Engagement rings vary hugely both in design and in stone-size, so it’s not possible to give hard-and-fast rules, but when trying on a wedding ring you should try to gauge whether your ring is enhanced or diminished by it.
If the latter, consider whether there are too many diamonds in the wedding ring, whether they are too big, or maybe both?
Sometimes less really is more!
Here’s something you could consider:
When you commission a bespoke wedding ring from Aurum designer-jewellers, you can ask to see the plain ring first.
Before the final finish you can try-on the plain ring next to your engagement ring.
When you see your ring on your finger in the width, size and profile you ordered, you can decide at that point whether you are happy to leave it plain, or if it needs a bit of extra sparkle.
You can then mark out on the ring exactly where diamonds could go.
Many people find it much easier to imagine once the ring is on their finger.
