This contemporary engagement ring is the signature style of contemporary jewellery designer Andrew Leggett. The Flick engagement ring is a modern take on the classic single-stone crossover ring, designed to sit perfectly alongside a straight wedding ring. *
The Flick is a striking asymmetric solitaire engagement ring that has one flat side, so the stone is pushed down the finger, and one shoulder “flicks” down towards it (hence the name). read more»
The Flick engagement ring is available in platinum and 18ct gold or a combination of both, in either a highly polished or a matte finish set with D-colour diamonds, in round brilliant, oval & marquise cuts, from 0.25ct. We also make versions with other stones, including sapphires, of various colours and shapes.
At Aurum designer-jewellers near Brighton we always keep a good selection of these unusual contemporary engagement rings in stock, but most of our clients prefer to have a unique engagement ring tailored to their specific requirements. Unlike most modern engagement rings, ours are made by hand. As we start from scratch every time, we can offer all sorts of variations to make each one a unique engagement ring.
Clients wanting a bespoke contemporary engagement ring deal direct with a jewellery designer or goldsmith, who spends as much time as necessary discussing exact specifications of the design. Please contact us to arrange your free consultation. The Flick is strikingly unconventional engagement ring that is chic and stylish rather than outlandish. The chunkier versions tend to look more contemporary than the lighter and daintier versions, that are closer to the scale of a classic solitaire engagement ring.
Naturally we also produce wedding rings to wear alongside a Flick engagement ring, and these are generally created specifically to suit the individual engagement ring.
* Many traditional and modern engagement rings do not work well with a straight wedding ring, and it is necessary to have a fitted wedding ring that is shaped to fit with it.
